This is a fundraiser for the St. Louis Fire Department, where eligible bachelors (Firefighters and EMS) were planning to walk the runway and go up for auction. However – Covid-19 had other plans. Now, guests may log in and bid on their favorite bachelor in an effort to win that bachelor and a special gift package.
Starting on August 10th, one or two bachelor video profiles will be released per day until August 20th, when we will join hosts Katie Korman and Katherine Hessel, FOX2 News, to review each bachelor one last time during a virtual happy hour. Bidding ends at midnight, so winners will be announced the following day.
Contributions are critical to the lifesaving needs of the STLFD to best support the 1+ million people who live, work and visit the City every day. Your tax-deductible contribution at this event benefits the St. Louis Fire Department Foundation, The St. Louis Hero Network and the Midwest Children's Burn Camp.
Thanks to our "new normal" with COVID-19, it is necessary to promote the health and safety of our community by following all state/local guidelines for socializing. In the old days, our bachelors and bachelorettes would be thrilled to accompany the winners for an in-person date experience. However, given the restrictions and social distancing, this is not ideal.
